How I work

No 60-slide decks. I show up, assess, fix it — and leave documentation behind.

01

Assess

I review your systems, network, and backup strategy, and find out what's likely to break next — explained in plain language, with no padded invoice.

02

Fix

I don't patch symptoms. I find the real cause of a failure and fix it properly, so it doesn't come back.

03

Document & Handover

Everything I do gets documented and verified — so you know what happened even years later, whether or not I'm the one at the keyboard.

~/familiar

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • The backup has been running for years. Whether it can actually be restored has never once been tested.
  • You can't say how much you spent on IT last year, or exactly what for.
  • You paid for a powerful system and use maybe twenty percent of it.
  • The server sits in a closet with one fan. It overheats every summer.
  • There's no two-factor login anywhere. One password, and anyone can get in from anywhere.
  • Employees keep their passwords under the keyboard, taped to the monitor, in a drawer.

If you nodded at more than two of these: this isn't an IT question anymore, it's a business risk. And the good news is, fixing most of it costs less than repairing the damage after it happens.

~/about

Why people call me — and why they stay

I've been working on business IT systems for over ten years — design firms, manufacturing plants, server rooms, fiber builds. I've mostly seen the same handful of problems wearing different names.

I don't manufacture unnecessary cost. If your server has three more years in it, I'll say so — even though selling you a new one would pay better for me.

Clients tend to stay for years, for one unglamorous reason: I write down what I did, and it still holds up when someone checks it later.

~/contact

Let's make your IT boring

Tell me what's not working — a backup you've never tested, a server that's overheating, a login with no second factor. I reply personally, usually within a day.

I reply by email first — usually within a day. If it makes sense to talk it through, we'll set up a call from there.
